With so many wonderful googies to use for this Blog Hop, I decided to create this beautiful "Exploding Box Card"! Which just happens to have a three tier cake inside!

Daisy White Cardstock was used for the base and lid

With the Flower side of the La Vie En Rose papers mounted onto Black Cardstock.

The combination came together beautifuly.

The lid and box are 4" x 4"

Black Shimmer Trim was adhered around the edge of the lid and also around each of the three tiers of the cake.

Black & Gold Ribbon used to create the bows!

A combination of rolled flowers [cricut cuts using Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge] and flowers fussy cut from pre-stamped flowers and the quote "There's no one like you..." using Blossoming Expressions [D1665]

The versatility of this card is wide with the option to use it for weddings; birthdays; any celebration really!

CTMH Corporate Idea using Candlelight Garden

When I received S1512 - "Candlelight Garden" I loved it and loved that it has to do with Friends and Thank You and all the things I love about creating positive projects, acknowledging gratitude to Friends and Family. An all occasion set of stamps! This is the idea I've created Candlelight Garden, hope you like it!

This layout was inspired by the group photo taken at our May quarterly Sunday Funday. Our Close To My Heart team "Circle of Hearts" host an All Day Sunday Funday each quarter. Right after lunch we traditionally get a group photo. Over 70 participants and 10 consultants combine to create such a great day of fun, laughter, ideas and projects!

Initially I stamped the jar and flower images directly onto our Watercolour Paper using Black Memento Ink. [This paper is 326GSM and perfect for watercolouring]

After leaving it to dry for an hour, the Watercolour Paints, and brushes were used to colour in the pre-stamped images. I'm pretty happy with the results! Using the Micro-tip Scissors each of the images were fussy cut then placed onto the daisy white base.

Then, using the Watercolour pencils, I touched up the flowers, adding definition and a touch more colour. I wanted them to pop off the page!
